Flower Sculputue

This is a sculpture piece that was made to show our ability to seamlessly combine materials and at the same time accent the subtle contrasts inherent to them. One of the flowers is completely shaped of tulip wood, whilst the other is entirely formed of steel. The two mirror each other in shape as they intertwine, yet each retains its individuality due to the look and feel of the material from which it is made. They sit in a base which is also a combination of tulip and steel designed to contrast the organic form of the flowers with a more architectural line.
